Truffle Reuben Sandwich
A gourmet twist on a St. Patrick's Day classic, featuring Truffleist Truffle Mustard!
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 slices rye bread
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 2 tbsp Truffleist Truffle Mustard
- 4 oz sliced pastrami
- 2 slices Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup sauerkraut, drained
- 1 tbsp Russian or Thousand Island Dressing
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of rye bread. Flip and spread Truffleist Truffle Mustard on the other side of one slice.
- Layer the pastrami, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut on top of the mustard-covered slice. Drizzle with Russian dressing.
- Top the second slice of bread, buttered side facing out.
- Grill in a pan over medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side, pressing lightly, until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Serve hot with extra Truffle Mustard for dipping.
